The Science Behind Candela Vbeam Laser

Vbeam is a pulsed dye laser set at 595 nm, a wavelength that is strongly taken up by oxyhaemoglobin in blood vessels. To prepare for your VBeam Laser Treatment, please avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 2-4 weeks prior. Discontinue retinol and harsh active skincare 3-5 days before and avoid blood-thinning to bruising. Ensure that your skin is free from active skincare, cold sores, infections or open wounds. After your treatment, apply SPF 50+ daily, use gentle and avoid hot showers steam and saunas for hours.
